Service & Commissioning Engineer - Semiconductor - Cheshire - LM1191b

Job Outline:

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity now exists with a market leading provider of semiconductor process equipment, who is looking for a further Service & Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Cheshire.

This role would include travel to customer locations to conduct the servicing, installation and commissioning of my clients semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

When you are not travelling you will be based at my clients facility in Cheshire, undertaking system build and factory sign-off activities, prior to shipping of complete systems

You will then take responsibility for planning, undertaking and completing system installation and user training at customer sites.

Key duties will include:

Servicing, installation and commissioning of systems at customers premises around the world, on occasion providing support for other colleagues performing work in the field

Practical work, including fault-finding and repair - previous electro/mechanical work is essential, multi-skilled preferred. Electrical circuit knowledge is a minimum.

Report writing and keeping records for traceability purposes

Provide constructive feedback to other teams within the business.

Construction of company products, including mechanical, electrical and software work, in line with production plan and to meet output deadlines

Ensuring quality control throughout all build tasks

Basic functionality testing of assembled products

The role will involve an element of travelling to customer sites to undertake installation activities.

Full training will be given.

A full UK passport and UK Driving licence is essential for this role.

Experience:

Ideally you will have at least 1+ years industrial experience, and ideally have a background in a service type role.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.

Candidates MUST hold a full clean UK Driving Licence.
