Job Title: Family Time Supervisor

Location: Wythenshawe District Office/Acorns Withington (City-wide based on service needs)

Start Date: 26th September

Salary: £15 per hour (PAYE)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise family time with looked after children and their families.
  • Provide support and guidance to young people and families.
  • Offer advice and guidance on parenting.
  • Complete observations of family time.
  • Maintain a non-judgemental approach.
  • Drive children to and from family time when required.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Must have a valid DBS check and full references in place before submitting.
  • Experience in supporting young people and families.
  • Must be a car driver.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Empathetic approach to dealing with sensitive situations.
  • Ability to offer clear and constructive advice.
  • Strong observational skills to accurately assess family interactions.
  • Non-judgemental and supportive attitude.
