About the Role:
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education? Aspire are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic team. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will work alongside experienced educators to support students with diverse learning needs in the classroom, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs.
Assist in delivering differentiated lessons to cater to a wide range of abilities.
Help students with classroom activities, including tasks, homework, and projects.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support teachers in managing classroom behavior and maintaining focus.
Promote students' independence, self-confidence, and emotional well-being.
Track student progress and report on individual development.
Key Requirements:
A degree in any discipline (or equivalent qualification).
Passion for working with children and a desire to pursue a career in education.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude towards supporting students' learning.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
