We are actively recruiting an experienced Housing Enforcement Officer on behalf of our client based in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring housing standards are upheld in the Private Rented Sector, supporting tenants, and improving living conditions across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate reports of disrepair and health & safety issues in rental properties.
- Administer and enforce Mandatory HMO Licensing and Selective Licensing.
- Target rogue landlords and manage tenancy relations, including illegal evictions.
- Conduct property inspections and take enforcement actions to protect tenants' rights.
- Collaborate with landlords to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and in good condition.

Requirements:
- Qualified in Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
- Experience with housing legislation, disrepair investigations, and enforcement.
- A degree or HNC in Environmental Health is highly beneficial.
