Work with Vista have a superb opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to work within a 3 bed SEMH home based in Manchester M14 providing care and support to children, ensuring their wellbeing and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
  • Provide childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or needs.
  • Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families where applicable.
  • Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.
  • Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
  • Previous experience supporting children with various needs is an advantage.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed.
  • Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and reporting on client progress.

Salary:

31,469 - 34,934 ( including sleeps ) working full time permanent hours, plus an extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities,
