Prospero Teaching are working closely with a successful primary school in Crosby to recruit an experienced Support workers to work with children with SEN. This is a full-time role to start in November.

The Support worker will be working with children across Key Stages and the role will involve supporting groups and individuals with learning activities. You will also deliver interventions to children with additional needs, on a personalised basis for individuals, and to groups of children with similar gaps in learning or with similar rates of progress.

You will need to have experience in working with children with SEN. You must have knowledge and experience of delivering interventions programmes, how to support children with SEN, and have a compassionate, caring nature.

Daily rate of pay ranges from £85 to £100.

Essential requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
  • Professional references covering the last two full years
  • Experience working in a UK Primary School
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
