About the Role:
Manchester City Council (MCC) is seeking two Personal Advisors to join our Leaving Care Service immediately. This service supports young people aged 16-25 who have been or are currently looked after by MCC, helping them transition to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload and keep accurate records.
- Contribute to and review Pathway Plans.
- Assess and support young people resuming education/training or with other needs post-21 years.
- Promote welfare and consider young people’s views in planning.
- Provide flexible advice and practical support.
- Coordinate services and ensure young people use them.
- Identify and supervise support packages.
- Ensure financial support and help develop financial management skills.
- Advise on and support access to accommodation.
- Work with various agencies for integrated support.
Key Skills and Requirements:

- Technical Requirements:
