Are you a housing law expert who can provide technical advice and guidance to housing colleagues; whilst preparing, managing and representing legal cases to resolution?

Alongside managing a case load of complex cases including antisocial behaviour, you will be required to deliver a high level of service to colleagues and customers in a busy demanding team. If this sounds like you, our Housing and Enforcement Specialist role could be the role for you.

Our Housing and Enforcement Specialist role is a key expert role working within the Housing & Enforcement team; providing a comprehensive, cross tenure, housing management, housing law, ASB and tenancy enforcement service across our Customer Services Directorate. You will work in a hybrid way, utilising MS Teams, office and our Neighbourhoods to support our key stakeholders, partners, colleagues and customers.

  • You will provide expert advice and support on housing law and housing policy matters, preparing and presenting cases in court in conjunction with legal services partners.

  • You will support, advise and work collaboratively with key partners and frontline teams to resolve customer demands

  • You will manage the most complex cases identified through case reviews beyond the knowledge, expertise and support of neighbourhood teams, and which require specialist case management or enforcement action, ensuring clear communications with colleagues and customers throughout.
