Job Advert: Practice Manager ā€“ Youth Justice TeamPosition: Practice ManagerLocation: Manchester Contract: 4-Month Temporary AssignmentSector: Youth JusticeService Care Solutions is assisting a Local Authority in recruiting a Practice Manager to join their Youth Justice Team on a 4-month temporary assignment.About the Role: As part of a multi-agency team, the Youth Justice Service delivers high-quality support to children, young people, and their families. The role focuses on:
  • Preventing offending and reducing reoffending
  • Diverting children and young people from the Criminal Justice System
  • Supporting those sentenced to a Community Order or Custodial Sentence
  • Engaging with and supporting victims of youth crime
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of effective interventions for young people involved in the justice system
  • Lead and manage a team to ensure best practices in youth justice work
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to develop tailored support plans
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safeguarding requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, making improvements where necessary
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in youth justice, social work, or a related field
