ASB Case Officer, MCCPay rate £19.09 per hour Vitalis Social Care are recruiting for an experienced ASB Case Officer to join an established team in Manchester.Job Purpose and Responsibilities: - You will work closely with our key partners, such as Greater Manchester Police, Housing Providers, and other council departments to support victims of anti-social behaviour (ASB). Our approach involves prevention, early intervention and enforcement including taking cases to court. You will be confident in delivering informal and formal interventions, taking statements from victims of ASB, and instructing solicitors. We provide a trauma-informed approach, with our focus on identifying support for those who need it, with the aim of helping to prevent further offending.About the Candidate: - We are looking for an individual who is comfortable engaging with people face to face, as well as visiting residents and businesses. We require someone with an understanding and knowledge, and ideally, of the practical application of the tools and powers within the ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014. The successful candidate will be competent in enforcing legislation which can include issuing verbal warnings and/or legal action. You must be able to confidently explain your enforcement decisions and deal with any challenges politely and professionally. We require someone who is motivated with excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus. Your skills enable you to effectively communicate with other professionals, victims, witnesses and ASB perpetrators.
