Scope of the post:

As a Business Development Account Manager your role will be to execute generate growth and sales for AVASK. You will remain knowledge on our portfolio of offerings and ensure the correct products are presented and sold to our customers. You will also support other more junior team members supporting them in their growth and development.

Key Accountabilities Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits

• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

• Prepare reports on account status

• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory

• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

• Maintain close relationship with partner, vendors and suppliers as appropriate.

• Keeping abreast of both internal and external developments within the E-commerce world to ensure a working knowledge of sellers and industry.

• Supervising and supporting the work of more juniors members of the business development team.

• Prospect and qualify new sales leads

• Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects

• Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products

• Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role

• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

• Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field

Person Specification: Qualifications Essential

• Experience in business development role – minimum 5 years.

• Educated to degree level – BSc/BA in Business Management to related degree

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Ability to deal with stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Organised with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Confident, professional, and friendly with a positive approach
