We require an additional core tutor on this programme (Level 4 Therapeutic Counselling).  To teach every other week or a block.  Details on arrangements to be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate, based on their capacity. 

The class is on a Monday all day, at a community adult learning centre.

Requirements;

  • Level 4 Counsellingqualification and have industry knowledge, experience and insight to prepare and deliver purposeful teaching, learning and assessment for learners to progress to the next steps. 
  • Minimum qualification requirements for tutors - 420 hours of therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above. e.g. TC-L4
  • Personal therapy + professional association membership - 10 hours of personal therapy AND Member of a professional association for counselling or psychotherapy.
  • On-going CPD - 30 hours per year CPD activities
  • Minimum practice experience - Current practitioner with 2 years’ supervised counselling practice or minimum 450 counselling hours AND Supervision qualification or 1 year experience of providing supervision to groups or individuals in a counselling setting
  • Minimum experience as a trainer / tutor- Teaching qualification AND 2 years teaching and assessing at level 2 and 3 or above.
  • DBS on the update service – or willingness to apply for one
  • Immediate availability on Mondays until 25/04/2025 (initially)
