Comprehensive training and support will be provided to help you succeed in this role.Based in the Redfern Building (Hanover St) in central Manchester, the role focuses on supporting ex-offenders affected by trauma that impacts their daily lives. Participants might have experienced challenges such as being in care or facing racial discrimination.You will manage a caseload of 20 clients, 95% of whom are men. The key aspect of this role is delivering tailored one-to-one interventions using pre-designed programmes. These programmes, presented through booklets, cover topics such as confidence, communication, anger management in relationships, managing change, parenting, and resettlement. For areas outside your expertise, you'll signpost clients to specialist support providers or charities.A typical day involves 3–4 one-to-one sessions, each lasting approximately 1.5 hours, with a significant focus on administrative tasks. Salary: £25,750 FTE, pro-rata £17,166 for 25 hours per week.
