KM Recruitment is seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor for a home/field-based role in the North West, requiring flexibility with travel.
The position offers a salary between £27,000 and £30,000, based on skills and experience, for a 4-day work week.
Candidates must have experience delivering Level 5 Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care and hold a recognized Assessor award.
Occupational competency in Health and Social Care at the management level and good ICT skills are essential, along with the ability to deliver Functional Skills in Maths and English.
A full, clean driving license and the ability to manage time effectively are also required for this role.

Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5.
Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) at Management level.
Must have a good level of ICT skills
Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5, including Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
