NonStop are currently partnered with an authority in Greater Manchester who is seeking experienced and dedicated Social Work Practitioners to join their Cared for Children service. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, providing expert advice to other social workers.
  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues, including the supervision of students, trainees, and support staff.
  • Lead in the planning and reviewing of cases, working closely with service users, their families, and carers to deliver high-quality care and promote independence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external agencies to gather relevant information for care planning and assessment.
  • Maintain and update case records to high ethical and quality standards.
  • Write clear and high-quality reports, presenting evidence in court when required for care proceedings.
  • Use initiative in handling complex situations, evaluating your own and others' practices to continuously improve service outcomes.
  • Respond to duty matters on a rota basis, ensuring smooth service operation.

Requirements:
