We are looking to recruit a Practice Improvement Lead within the Social Care industry in Tameside. The vacancy will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • This role focuses on leading the social work practice improvement agenda, supporting the delivery of improvement and transformation priorities across Children and Young People's Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading service-wide improvement initiatives, including learning and development events, recruitment events, and quality assurance activities.
  • Providing project management for new initiatives and supporting the implementation of change programmes.
  • Developing and delivering a children's services training and development strategy, including monitoring and evaluating its impact.
  • Maintaining up-to-date toolkits and resource packs for practitioners and managers.
  • The ideal candidate is expected to be highly motivated, dynamic, and creative, with experience in successful project management and delivering training or workshops to various audiences.

Experience preferred:

  • Experience of working within as an Improvement Lead within the UK Social Care industry.

The team:

Minimum requirements:

  • 3 years' post qualifying experience in a similar role within the UK
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • DipSW/CQSW equivalent
