Practice Lead - Adult Safeguarding Team - Manchester City Council - Up to £40ph!

MCC are looking for an Adult safeguarding practice lead - successful candidate will be employed, supervised and supported by MCC, but will deliver duties within Greater Manchester Mental Health services (Gateway and Community mental health teams). The roles will support the delivery and assurance mechanisms of our statutory duty to deliver adult safeguarding services to the Manchester communities.

  • Candidate must be based local and should be willing to be office based. (there may some flexibility in some circumstances)
  • 3 month post initially.
  • Practitioners should have experience within MH, be adaptable, have experience of delivering Section 42 duties and managing teams
  • Senior Social Workers and Deputy TM's can be considered
  • Fully office based & 3 months initially with potential to extend
