CloudOps Engineer (Remote, Permanent)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus (Dependent on Experience)Location: Remote (Must be UK based)Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

About UsThis role is working for a leading provider of PropTech SaaS solutions for the UK & European market. The company are focused on digitising and optimising processes while addressing key global challenges like climate change and housing shortages. They offer a collaborative, diverse, and flexible work environment and are seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join a growing team.

Role OverviewAs a CloudOps Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and optimising live customer cloud environments, ensuring operational stability, and acting as the primary point of escalation for critical technical issues. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and engineers to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Operations: Lead the resolution of complex technical issues, optimise internal & customer Azure cloud environments, and ensure operational stability.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead service meetings, provide expert guidance, and foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • 4th Line Support: Assist the internal support team with escalated issues, ensuring quick and efficient incident resolution.
  • Operational Excellence: Contribute to process improvements and maintain documentation.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in Azure Cloud Operations or Cloud Infrastructure roles
  • Proficiency with Azure and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Ninja) and performance analysis.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and networking (e.g., VPCs, VPNs, DNS)
  • Experience acting as an escalation point and following ITIL processes
  • Strong customer engagement and communication skills
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and IAC tools is a plus (Terraform, Ansible)
