Control Systems Engineer
Hybrid – Home work and Travel to Clients in Manchester/ West Yorkshire Areas
Circa £47,000 – 40 Hour Working Week

Established in 2012, we bring automation and control system concepts to life through design and on-site commissioning. We cover FMCG, Packaging, Utilities and Processing industries to name a few. As we have grown as a company, we are now looking at a new Control Systems Engineer to join our team and grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Work from home, managing your own workload to design control systems while reporting to your manager
- Communicate through on-site visits to clients through Manchester and West Yorkshire to understand their needs and work on their projects
- Write reports and complete risk assessments
- Prioritise a varied workload to tight deadlines this includes assess and organising resources to plan and progress work activities
- Time spent away from home working on sites, with the potential of working abroad as the role requires
Key Skills
- Experience a fault finding and commissioning on electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Proficient in writing software for PLCs, HMIs and integrated drive systems
- Good working knowledge of Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, FTView, Mitsubishi GX and GT works
- Siemens knowledge is essential
- Experience with older control systems and the ability to upgrade and replace to newer systems
- Ability to design electrical control systems using AutoCAD or Eplan or SEE electrical
