What you'll do:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining our client's Edge to Cloud AI platform. You will work closely with both customers and internal teams, ensuring the success of their innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include everything from deployment and maintenance of AI applications across various environments, designing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, automating configuration management with tools like Ansible, implementing monitoring solutions for system health checks, resolving system bottlenecks proactively, supporting application development in Python, Go, C++, engaging with customers for requirement understanding and solution deployment. You will also provide necessary technical support and training.
* Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot AI applications across edge and cloud environments* Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI* Utilise tools such as Ansible to automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning* Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health, performance, and reliability* Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks* Collaborate with developers to integrate front and back-end systems* Support development and debugging of applications written in Python, Go, and C++* Engage with customers to understand requirements and ensure successful deployment of solutions* Provide technical support and training as needed* Contribute to the architectural design of scalable edge-to-cloud systems
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this DevOps Engineer role will bring proven experience in deploying and maintaining distributed systems. You should be proficient in using GitLab CI or similar for managing CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools is a must. You should have full-stack development experience with a good understanding of front-end and back-end integration. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Go, along with basic familiarity with C++, will be beneficial. A strong understanding of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is required. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana will be an advantage. Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach are essential for this role.
