DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Python/Bash)
£55,000 - £65,000 + annual bonus

Lorien Global are working with one of the largest independent bookmakers in the UK. As the business continue their development we need a DevOps Engineer to aid the Platform Team with the general day-to-day running of operations.My Client, recently migrated some of their applications into AWS and are planning to organise this for other businesses across the Group as such is a great opportunity for you to be involved with exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Enabling cloud scalability within AWS, by maintaining and building new features.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins.
- Ensuring deployment and releases are time efficient and also quality efficient. Working with testing, software development and product teams.
- Heavily involved in Continuous integration, automation, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and Containerisation.
Skills:
- Strong exposure to AWS services such as EC2, VPC, Route53, Auto scaling groups, CloudWatch, IAM (2-3 years).
- Experience with configuration management tools such as ansible.
- Strong skills in building infrastructure using either Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong Linux skills (Ubuntu, Debian etc.).
- Experience of using Docker for containerisation purposes.
- Strong experience of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using the likes of GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, CodeBuild etc.
- Familiarity with scripting (Bash or Python).
- Monitoring and alerting tools - Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk, ELK.
