They are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer to join their dynamic team, contributing to the design, development, and optimisation of digital lead generation platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation, API integrations, and conversion-driven user experiences, with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the UK.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer with a proven track record in building, optimising, and scaling digital platforms, particularly in the lead generation or fintech space. You will work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions that align with our compliance requirements. The role demands expertise in a diverse tech stack, proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS or Replit), and the ability to handle encrypted API communications to protect sensitive customer data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, focusing on lead generation workflows.
  • Optimize and scale platform performance to handle increasing lead volumes efficiently.
  • Integrate and manage APIs for customer eligibility checks, ensuring encrypted data transmission and receipt in compliance with GDPR and FCA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and partners to enhance lead qualification processes using automated systems.
  • Build responsive, conversion-driven user interfaces with a seamless customer journey.
  • Ensure platform security, including data encryption and compliance with UK regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Replit) to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the tech stack.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Languages and Frameworks:
    • Proficiency in JavaScript (including React.js for front-end development).
    • Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
    • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS for responsive and styled interfaces.
  • Back-End Development:
    • Competence with Node.js and Express.js for server-side logic.
    • Familiarity with Formik and Yup for form handling and validation.
  • Database and Storage:
    • Experience with Supabase or similar PostgreSQL-based solutions for data management.
    • Ability to integrate and manage relational databases securely.
  • API Integration:
    • Strong experience in working with RESTful APIs (e.g., Numverify, ZeroBounce) to send and receive encrypted data.
    • Knowledge of API security protocols (e.g., OAuth, TLS/SSL) and encryption standards (e.g., AES-256).
  • Cloud and Deployment:
    • Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud hosting, scaling, and deployment (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
    • Alternatively, experience with Replit for collaborative development and deployment.
    • Familiarity with Vercel for deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Version Control:
    • Expertise with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Testing and Debugging:
    • Ability to write and maintain unit and integration tests.
    • Experience with debugging tools and performance optimisation.
  • Additional Tools:
    • Familiarity with npm for package management and build processes.
    • Understanding of DevTools for cross-browser testing and responsiveness.

Soft Skills and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in full-stack development, with at least 2 years in a lead generation or regulated environment (e.g., fintech, insurance).
  • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, including GDPR and FCA guidelines, with a focus on data privacy and security.
