Our client is currently seeking a highly creative mid-weight front-end developer to join their dynamic digital team. This role involves creating mobile-first websites for a diverse range of clients, making it an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about front-end development with an interest in back-end technologies.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with colleagues and clients to gather requirements and deliver digital projects.
- Manage issues to resolution, accurately recording faults and relaying progress to the digital lead.
- Build tools to automate processes, reduce errors, and enhance customer experience.
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
- Develop documentation for new and integrated solutions to train team members and client stakeholders.
- Support content development, including editing, writing, and designing when needed.
- Create web-based assets for various platforms, such as microsites and mobile applications.
- Develop rapid layout mock-ups to expedite client signoff and delivery.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a mid-weight front-end developer
- MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience in Drupal theming and custom module development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS3, SASS, HTML5), familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows, and experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue).
- Knowledge of web development best practices including agile development, clean code, and TDD.
- Experience in developing and manipulating visual mock-ups in Figma.
- Ability to work flexibly to deadlines with independent judgment, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the capability to thrive in a highly creative, client-facing environment.
