PHP Developer

We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to help build the next generation of our client's products. Leveraging Laravel Vapor’s serverless runtime, you’ll develop stable; scalable interfaces used both internally and by their customers.

You’ll work closely with our Senior Developer and CTO, applying best practices and advanced Laravel techniques.

• Develop and maintain robust PHP applications using the Laravel framework.
• Write and maintain unit tests with PHPUnit to ensure code quality.
• Work with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and ensure SQL, HTML, and CSS competency.
• Collaborate with the team to design, document, and deliver scalable interfaces.
• Participate in team meetings in Manchester or Chester, typically once a week or fortnight.

• Required: Experience with PHP and Laravel, familiarity with PHPUnit, modern JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Desired: Experience with Laravel Vapor, LiveWire or Vue.js, AWS, Docker, and OAuth2/JWT-based authentication systems.
• Strong systematic approach to problem-solving and software design.
