Platform Engineer - Up to £65,000 (HYBRID) - Manchester

We are on the lookout for a Platform Engineer who will be responsible for the infrastructure build, automation and deployment to deliver a production ready environment. We are working alongside one of the UK's leading gambling clients who are looking to hire immediately.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Develop standard application stacks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to address common use cases.
  • Experience using configuration management and infrastructure as code such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Previous work with Kubernetes, Docker and standard virtual machine infrastructure to allow automated deployment, upgrade and operation of application stacks that can be reused across multiple projects.
  • A background in Platform/OS engineering, both Linux and Windows experience would be ideal
  • Experience with containers using both Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong AWS Platform Engineering skills in particular; EC2, S3, IAM and VPC/network configuration
