Senior C++ Developer, Greater Manchester (hybrid), £65,000
A Senior C++ Developer is needed to join a growing (already international) SaaS company based in Greater Manchester (hybrid - 1 day a week on site). In this Senior Development role you will take the lead on development tasks and mentor junior developers to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
As a Senior C++ Developer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, producing technical designs and driving technical improvements to align with our business objectives. Working closely with product and development managers to steer the product roadmap.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent C/C++ (v17) development skills.
- Proficiency in Jenkins or similar build tools.
- Good understanding of API design using SOAP and REST.
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- Experience across Windows, Linux, and Web Platforms.
- Knowledge of concurrency, scalability, and fault-tolerant designs.
- Proficiency in Git and automated testing techniques.
- Experience with the Linux operating system.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with Node.js.
- Proficiency in Docker and containers.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
