My client based in Manchester is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for an initial 10-week contract inside of IR35.
The position requires a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of 2 days on-site in Manchester each week.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of solid experience in Azure Cloud DevOps and advanced skills in Terraform and Azure LandingZone using MS CAF.
The role involves working collaboratively within a busy team to deliver and support key cloud programs and technology transformations.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, reflecting the seniority of the role.

My client based in Manchester are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer on an initial 10 week contract inside of IR35.

You will be working on a hybrid basis of which you will be required to be on site in Manchester at least 2 days a week.

You will be working on in a busy team of which you will be involved in the delivery and support of key cloud programmes across the organisation.

The team design, build and maintain the delivery infrastructure, systems and processes underpinning technology transformation engagements and lead the adoption of modern platforms and ways of working.

We're looking for Senior platform engineer, who are hands on and possess a deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem to join delivery teams working on some of the most exciting digital programmes within the industry. You'll work in the platform engineering team alongside developers, architects, UX designers, analysts and product owners to deliver DevOps CI/CD, automation and cloud infrastructure.

You must have experience of

Minimum 5-year solid experience Azure Cloud DEVOPS
Ability to work collaboratively with architect to work on complex architectural designs, technical and support documentation.
Agile ways of working using JIRA / Confluence.
Advanced terraform skills
Advanced Azure LandingZone experience using MS CAF
Proven Azure Devops/GITLAB CI/CD experience.
