We are looking for an ambitious individual to join a well renowned company based in the North East. They are an FTSE100 company and after another successful year, they're looking to expand their development team and add a mid-level developer to their ranks. The role is being offered on a remote basis and you be required to go into the office just once a month.

As a Mid-Level Software Developer, you will primarily be working with .Net technologies to develop, enhance, and maintain their software applications. You will also leverage your knowledge of Azure services and T-SQL to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of their systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies, ensuring clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
Utilise Azure services (such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services) to build cloud-based solutions.
Write and optimize T-SQL queries for database management and reporting.
Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues promptly.
Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET, Azure, and database technologies to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .Net technologies
Proficiency in T-SQL
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular)

Desirables:

Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps)
