Our client is a dynamic and growing eCommerce business that operates predominantly online, offering a diverse range of products to a broad customer base. With a strong focus on digital innovation, customer experience, and market expansion, the company is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join their team and contribute to their continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain e-commerce websites, ensuring high-quality production-ready code.
- Work on both frontend and full-stack development tasks as required.
- Utilise Magento 2 and Hyva to build and enhance online platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to implement new technologies and frameworks.
- Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and system integration.
Tech Stack:
- Magento 2 website hosted on Sonassi MageStack.
- Development on Ubuntu in Docker containers.
- Frontend built on Hyva - AlpineJS and Tailwind, with custom JS/SASS.
- Backend development using PHP and MySQL.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Experience with AlpineJS (or alternatives such as React, Angular, or Vue).

Willingness to learn new techs and platforms.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience building from first principles without reliance on frameworks.
- Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns to produce clean, concise code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
