Our client, a leader in delivering high-quality, globally used web applications, is seeking a skilled Testing Lead with a strong background in automation testing using Playwright or Puppeteer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large, collaborative development team, shaping the QA processes of a widely impactful platform.

Role Overview:The Testing Lead will oversee the automation testing strategy and execution, managing QA efforts for a complex web application utilized by a global audience. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a QA team, collaborate with cross-functional development teams, and apply expertise in automation frameworks to ensure high software quality and seamless performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering growth and high standards.
  • Design, implement, and optimize automation frameworks with Playwright or Puppeteer.
  • Work closely with a large development team to deliver comprehensive test coverage across a feature-rich, globally deployed application.
  • Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, continuous delivery.
  • Participate in planning sessions with stakeholders to shape effective testing strategies.
  • Analyze test results, track defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Testing Lead or Senior QA Engineer, ideally with global, large-scale web applications.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright or Puppeteer automation.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and incorporating automated testing for continuous deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate within a large development team and across various departments.
