The Role

Our client is seeking a Software Tester to join the company’s development team. As part of a collaborative environment, the Software Tester will work closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to ensure the highest standards of quality in delivering software to insolvency clients worldwide. This role is perfect for someone with a strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability in alignment with product requirements.
  • Work alongside the development team to ensure early detection of defects and promote best testing practices.
  • Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure comprehensive coverage across various product features.
  • Document and report defects accurately, collaborating with the development team to drive timely resolutions.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users, ensuring that the product meets all requirements and expectations.
  • Create and maintain detailed testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Work closely with the support team to understand user issues, helping to recreate scenarios and document resolutions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing procedures and methodologies within the team.
Key Skills & Requirements
  • Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance within a technology-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and tools, with experience in automated testing frameworks a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and reporting issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, engaging with developers, product managers, and support staff.
  • Familiarity with software used in the insolvency industry or related fields is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other common business software tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other database management tools is a plus.
