About the Role
* Specialism in Autism: You will work closely with students with Autism, tailoring support to meet their individual needs and helping them thrive in the classroom.
* Subject Support: Provide targeted support in Maths, English, and Science at KS3 & KS4, ensuring students stay on track with the curriculum.
* Collaborative Teamwork: Work alongside teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
* Personal Development: Help students develop socially, emotionally, and academically, fostering their confidence and independence.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in Schools: Previous experience working with children with Autism in a school setting is essential.
* Knowledge of KS3 & KS4 Core Subjects: Strong understanding of the curriculum in Maths, English, and Science.
* Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
* Empathy and Patience: A caring approach to supporting students with additional needs.
* Relevant Qualifications: Desirable but not essential; practical experience will be highly valued.
