English Support - PRU

English Tutor - 3 Days / Week

We are working with an Alternative Provision in Salford, who require Tutors to lead English sessions for small groups of KS3 students. You will be required to run 10 sessions a week, over 3 days of the week. The role requires you to be able to plan and deliver English Sessions. You should be confident in covering the English curriculum and also focus on Behaviour Management and Pastoral Support.

The role will start in mid Oct and will continue for the rest of the academic year. This role is starting as 3 days but will go into 5 days long term.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in English Required
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) desirable but not essential
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide the training)
up to date behaviour management training (desirable, we can provide training)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide professional references to cover the last 2 years
