Join a vibrant specialist school in Trafford committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special needs conditions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with ADHD, ASD, and other learning difficulties.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting the social and emotional development of all students.
  • Support students in developing independence and confidence in their learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEN.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's education and well-being.
