Autism Support Assistant -Manchester
Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-12 year old on a full-time term time only basis.
Your role would be based in a Special School in Manhester that caters specifically for children with Autism and Communication issues. This is a Monday - Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 - 15.30. We are not currently accepting applications for part time.

Autism Support Assistant role & responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons
- Helping the pupils regulate
- Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive
- Assist with personal care
Autism Support Assistant Non-negotiables:
- Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity
- Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
