Prospero Teaching is seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSA) who specialize in supporting students with moderate learning difficulties at a specialist school in Tameside for ages 11-16.
The role involves providing learning support in group settings and on a one-to-one basis, with a focus on students with autism and other complex needs.
Candidates should have prior experience in an educational setting and be comfortable managing challenging behavior, as the role can be physically demanding.
This full-time position offers a minimum daily rate of £90, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, and is available for immediate start.
Applicants must have at least a 'C' grade in English and Maths at GCSE, a DBS check, and two references covering the last two years of employment.

Learning Support Assistant - SEN Specialist (Moderate Learning Difficulties)

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for LSA's to work at specialist school in Tameside for those aged 11-16 years old with autism and other learning difficulties.

You will provide learning support to pupils and work in groups and on a 1:1 basis supported by other support and education staff. Ideally you will have previous experience of supporting those with complex needs or working within education.

Some pupils may present challenging behavior and so candidates must ensure they are comfortable working in this type of environment and be aware that these are physically demanding roles.

Candidate Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 'C' grade in English and Maths at GCSE
Previous experience in a similar setting
DBS checked against both Children & Adults or be willing to apply for a new one at the cost of £45
Be able to provide two references covering the past 2 years of employment

Candidates will be subject to a full agency registration to be put forward for this role.
