Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential? An inclusive primary school in East Manchester is looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to work in our specialist provision. In this role, you will support a non-verbal child who is currently working below age-expected levels and requires additional supervision due to a tendency to wander.
About the Role:
- Location: East Manchester
- Position: Teaching Assistant (Specialist Provision)
- Responsibilities: One-to-one support for a non-verbal child, helping them engage in daily learning activities, develop essential life skills, and ensuring their safety in and around school.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
- Is proactive, patient, and understanding.
- Can respond quickly and calmly to keep the child safe and engaged.
- Has previous experience or is enthusiastic about learning skills to support non-verbal communication.
