MILK Education are currently working with our partnered Secondary Schools within the Greater Manchester area who are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to work on a supply basis. The role is to start ASAP.

Learning Support Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional learning needs, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Support students in developing skills for independent learning and personal growth.
  • Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning resources and materials..
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess students' progress, offering feedback and suggestions where necessary

Learning Support Assistant Non-negotiables:

  • A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
  • Must have enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
