Position: Learning Support AssistantLocation: M31 Area, Partington, TraffordStart Date: ASAPHours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to FridaySalary: £96- £102 per day
Reeson Education is working with a specialist setting in the M31 area of Trafford to find a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the chance to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
The pupils, aged between KS2 and KS4, work at varying ability levels and benefit from a more tailored learning environment. Your learning support assistant role will involve providing dedicated support to ensure they thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:
- Supporting SEN and SEMH pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting in delivering a curriculum tailored to the individual needs of students
- Helping to foster positive relationships and promote social and emotional development
- Encouraging independence and supporting the well-being of each child
- Adapting learning strategies to meet diverse needs
Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:
- Driving licence and access to a car are essential
- Passion for working with young people with SEN and SEMH needs
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to working with students
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Ability to adapt to different learning environments and challenges
