Level 2 and Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant positions starting after February Half-term

This primary school based in Manchester is looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join them.

Your new role

We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children with SEN with complex and physical needs. In this role, you will be supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis. You will be following the child's EHCP plans, simplifying the work that the teacher has for them and using different resources to suit the child's needs and learning style and building a strong rapport with the child and creating a supportive and nurturing environment. Strong communication skills and the use of initiative are all essential in this role, to support the child's academic progress.What you'll need to succeed

  • You must have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Supported children with complex and physical needs
  • Worked with a child on a 1:1 basis
  • Can build a strong rapport with children
  • Is happy to do personal care
  • You must have patience, compassion and a positive attitude is essential.
