Job Title: Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant (3 Days per Week) Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester Pay Rate: GBP95 per day Hours: 8:30 am 3:30 pm Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Long-term (Ongoing) About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Trafford on a part-time basis. This rewarding role requires 1:1 support for children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviours. The successful candidate will work across classroom and outdoor settings, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment. What We're Looking For: We are searching for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria: Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting. Confidence and resilience in supporting children on a 1:1 basis. A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, though training can be provided). Your Responsibilities: Supporting the social, emotional, and educational development of children with SEN. Collaborating with teachers and staff to create an engaging learning environment. Implementing tailored support strategies to meet individual pupil needs.
Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Possess an enhanced child-barred DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to process a new application). Provide two professional references relating to childcare or education.
