Personal Care Assistant - SEN & Autism

Prospero Teaching are working closely with a SEN High School who provide educational support to children with complex and moderate learning difficulties and autism. The site is based in Ashton, Tameside and is easily accessed by road and public transport links and offers free parking on site.

The Role will consist of:

• Providing tailored personal care support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
• Personal care is involved - toileting, feeding, changing.
• Creating a safe environment that allows children and other students have fun, learn and succeed
• Poolside hydrotherapy support

The Ideal candidate:

• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
• Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs
• Candidates MUST hold training proof for Manual Handling and Hoist

Position Details:

• LOCATION - Ashton (OL9)
• POSITION - Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant
• CONTRACT TYPE - Temporary (Long Term)
• MINIMUM DAILY RATE - £80
• HOURS - Full time Monday - Friday 8.30am -3.30pm
• START DATE - ASAP
