TeacherActive is looking for experienced SEND support workers to work in a Special Education Needs and Disabilities College in Greater Manchester. If you have a passion for supporting the needs of students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties/PMLD, Severe Learning difficulties/SLD and Autism Spectrum Condition/ASC then this is the perfect role for you. You must have some experience of working with either individuals with SEND or children in the UK to be successful in your application.
The successful candidate needs to be flexible and be able to work on a 1:1 basis and also help supporting teachers within Key Stage 3/ KS3, Key Stage 4/ KS4 and Key Stage 5/ KS5. We are looking for innovative and creative thinkers to support students on a casual, short term and long term basis. The School believes in celebrating all successes and achievements and providing the highest level of education for all its students.
The successful candidate will need to have:
- Level 3 Qualification in a relevant subject/3 Months experience in a UK school
- Experience working with students up to Key Stage 5/ KS5
- Experience with a range of SEND needs
