This role is perfect for a compassionate and patient TA with experience working with children with unique challenges. What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate should have previous experience supporting children with Tourettes Syndrome and a calm, professional demeanour when managing behaviours related to the condition. You should be able to: Offer compassionate support without reacting inappropriately to the students verbal or physical tics, which may sometimes include language that could be perceived as inappropriate. Use strategies to help the child focus and stay engaged with learning activities. Foster a respectful, inclusive, and understanding classroom environment. Eligibility Requirements: Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply. Two professional references, preferably from roles involving SEN experience.
