Position Details

  • Pay Rate: £84 - £90 per day, based on experience
  • Start Date: January 2025
  • Hours: Full-time, continuing for the academic year with the potential for extension

About You

The successful candidate will support the progress and achievement of a high-performing class, working closely with the class teacher and providing one-to-one assistance to students with SEMH/SEN needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and creating a positive classroom environment
  • Provide individual support for pupils with specific learning needs, ensuring they can fully engage with the curriculum
  • Help prepare teaching materials, set up equipment, and organise resources for lessons
  • Foster a positive, respectful rapport with all students
  • Collaborate with the team to share insights, resources, and best practices

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong references confirming experience with behavioural support
  • Comprehensive CV with full employment history
  • Right to work in the UK
