We are recruiting for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP on a full time and long term temporary basis at a special needs primary school in Trafford.
Role
- SEN Teaching Assistant at special needs primary school in Trafford.
- Supporting pupils with Autism, Complex Needs, Physical & cognitive disabilities.
- Working in small groups and 1:1 at times.
- Teamwork with the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants.
- Managing emotions and behaviour so that teacher can focus on learning.
- Getting involved in ongoing training opportunities.
Times
- Monday to Friday 8:30am-4pm (with 45 mins break)
Contract
- Start ASAP, full time & long term temporary basis
- Expected to last until July 2025 but could turn into a permanent contract earlier for the right person.
Pay
- Up to £95/day for first 12 weeks DOE. Equal pay to permanent staff from 13th week.
- Paid PAYE via Tradewind, we don't use umbrella companies!

- Have an enhanced DBS certificate that is on the Update Service (or be happy to pay for a new one).
- Minimum of two professional references checks.
- Provide a CV with full education & work.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Some experience supporting children with special needs.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
