We are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP on a full time and long term temporary basis at a special needs school in north Manchester.

Role

  • SEN Teaching Assistant at special needs high school in north Manchester.
  • Supporting pupils with Autism, Complex Needs, Physical & cognitive disabilities.
  • Working in small groups and 1:1 at times.
  • Teamwork with the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants.
  • Managing emotions and behaviour so that teacher can focus on learning.
  • Getting involved in ongoing training opportunities.

Times

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-4pm (with 45 mins break)

Contract

  • Start ASAP, full time & long term temporary basis
  • Expected to last until July 2025 but could turn into a permanent contract earlier for the right person.

Pay

  • Up to £95/day for first 12 weeks DOE. Equal pay to permanent staff from 13th week.
  • Paid PAYE via Tradewind, we don't use umbrella companies!
