Prospero Teaching are recruiting for entry level SEN Teaching Assistants to work is a welcoming SEN school for students aged 11-19 years old with significant learning difficulties, autism and communication difficulties.

The school is part of a large network of SEN schools in the area who have various sites offering a tailored approach to learning. The curriculum is individualised and focusses on the students ability away from the mainstream curriculum.

The school is based in Tameside and is easily accessible by car and public transport and there is parking on site.

THE ROLE -

You will be assisting the class teacher with the support of other teaching assistants throughout the academic day. Class sizes are small and you will be either working on a 1:1 basis with students or in small groups, supporting a range of lessons and activities from life skills, outdoor and Forrest sessions and entry level academic subjects.
