SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant     Location: South Manchester   Daily rate: £85- £95

Cover People are searching for understanding, accommodating, and patient SEN Teaching Assistants to work within our Primary and SEN schools, offering support to students who have Special Education Needs. If you have the relevant experience, we would like to hear from you!

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Help pupils with SEN to participate in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with SEN in the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for pupils.
  • Support the educational and social development of children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support pupil progress.

Candidate Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on update register
  • Experience in supporting children with SEN and complex needs.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing challenging behaviour.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence and ability to adapt to any situation.
  • Up to date CV, your CV must cover 10 years of employment.
