Prospero Teaching are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Worker to join a fantastic Good Ofsted rated SEN School located in Hulme, supporting pupils with SEMH/ADHD/Autism. This is a great opportunity, to help enrich and develop childrens lives whilst improving attendance and attitudes towards learning. You will be working with an excellent team and joining a fantastic school where you can make a difference, playing a key role in the development of students. The successful candidate will be working with pupils who have been identified with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) developing interpersonal skills and preparation for further education, apprenticeships and the work place. Contract Details for Learning Support Workers: Location: Hulme Position: Learning Support Worker Type of work: 1:1 Intervention / Small-Group Intervention Start date: January 2025 Contract type: Temp/Perm Full time/part time: Full-Time Minimum rate of pay: GBP97 per day Experience, Training and Qualifications needed for Learning Support Workers role: Previous experience in education is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire. Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous A passion for working with children with SEMH. Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities. You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
